What we thought was lost, now is found – In an exciting recent development, Brent Trask and Ken DeMaere recently returned from a trip to Red Earth Creek, Alberta, where they reconnected with leadership of the Loon River Gospel Fellowship. After many years of no contact, we discover a congregation with lay leadership thriving even without a pastor and they are asking to re-establish relationship with the C&MA.

Sharpen your question asking skills through a one day coach training workshop – This training is offered by Ed Temple, a Certified Executive Coach (CEC) from Royal Roads and a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. Ed serves as Executive Pastor of Missional Engagement with Foothills Alliance Church. The training will be offered January 28th in Edmonton and February 25th in Calgary. A Call for Candidates has been issued by the WCD Nominating Committee for the position of District Superintendent for the Western Canadian District. The incumbent D.S., Rev. Brent Trask, is completing his first four-year term and will allow his name to stand for a second four year term.
