Websites:

The New and Growing World of Connections on the Web!

Below you will find a list of websites, all currently in working order as of April 2012: Some you might find helpful, others might not work for you. I’ve included a short description of each of them. Try some out and see what you think. All of the sites have interactive components and chat lines available.

Clergy Care Network: http://www.focusonthefamily.ca/clergycare/pastorswife/index/html
A Canadian site, through Focus on the Family Canada. There are many options available for confidential care available to ministry wives on this site. There are article links, prayer contacts, personal support people and a wide selection of resources specifically with ministry families in mind. All services are completely confidential and carefully monitored. Their toll free number is 1 800 525 3749 email: info@clergycare.ca

www.leadingandlovingit.com – Site by Kay Warren (Rick Warren’s wife, Purpose Drive Life author) Kay has several teaching videos and many solid resources on this site.

www.justmoved.org – Site by Susan Miller…here are many articles applicable to transition times in ministry, both practical suggestions and topics pertaining to moving and settling in a new location can be found. Though it is from the U.S., its material is relevant.

www.justbetweenus.org – This site is an excellent, broad ranging website. There are links to a current and very comprehensive magazine (which you can read online for free). There are “hot topics” regularly and opportunities to receive weekly blogs/devotionals. It is organized by Jill Briscoe who is married to Stuart Briscoe. This is a U.S. site

http://www.incourage.me// – This is a site for women, not specifically for women in ministry families. However, many of the articles touch on relevant topics such as managing relationships, family life, coping with daily life and so on. It’s linked to Dayspring.

www.contagiousjoy4him.com – This site is organized by Diane Nix. She states the purpose of the site as: “to connect ministry wives around the globe for the purpose of prayer, encouragement, awareness, accountability, bible study and friendship.” There are many resources, articles, blogs and links to conversations relevant to ministry life. This is a U.S. site

www.GPWN.org – This is probably the largest U.S. site for ministry wives. It began several years ago and was founded by Tony Evan’s wife, Lois in the southern US. It is extensive as well but more relevant to the United States than Canada.
