PERSONAL CARE AND LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

The Western Canadian District is convinced that healthy pastors make for healthy churches. Parker Palmer said, “Self-care is never a selfish act, it is simply good stewardship of the only gift I have, the gift I was put on earth to offer others.” In other words, nurturing emotional and spiritual health is essential to effective ministry. To that end the WCD provides numerous resources & opportunities to help you grow or in some cases, to even recover your joy, peace and love for Christ & His work.
